Pictured in the header photo from a newspaper with James Dean is Candy's father, Frank Klump, on the set of 'The Giant' filmed in Marfa, TX in 1955.  Candy and her sister, Peggy, now a well known dressage trainer and judge, frequently rode the pony in the photo, Little King [no connection to the Miniature].

Frank with Packy or Lute, one of two white German sheppard puppies that Gregory Peck gave to Ralph McCutcheon after making the movie 'Duel in the Sun'.  'Dice', a striking black overo pinto stallion, Ralph's first picture horse, was riden by Peck.

Frank with a team of palominos taken in the late '40's.  Penny, the mare on the right, was Mary Kornman McCutcheon's riding horse.
